Wrong parts

Spent almost an hour with customer getting display paired with wifi once that was working it was determined that the remote sensors were not correct units that told me it would be resolved that day day…. No answers yet and another day has passed.

Wifi Temperature monitor

I like the large display and the phone app. Wish it would interface with Google home. Great device for the price.

Just received my order

Because of an address error, my system arrived yesterday, not 19 days ago. I have been unable to connect the second and third sensors. The directions worked well for the first sensor but failed repeatedly with the other two. Until I get those connected, I withhold judgment. The parts that are working work well.

FAQ

Collapsible content

Will this Wifi Weather Station work with the RainPoint Wifi Rain Gauge or Soil Moisture Meter? Will the data be displayed on the weather station screen in addition to the App?

The Updated WiFi weather station works with both the Wifi Soil Meter and the Wifi Rain Gauge. The data will display on screen (one at a time), and be available in our HomGar App to monitor remotely.

Will this Wifi Weather Station work with the Wireless Pool Thermometer?

Yes, the Updated weather station works with the Pool Thermometer, as well as our other RainPoint/BALDR devices, i.e. soil sensor, rain sensor, flow meter, leakage detector, and water timers. The data will display on screen (one at a time), and be available in our HomGar App to monitor remotely.

Will remote sensor SE0666 work with the NEW weather station?

The RF version sensor SE0666 is incompatible with the new weather station due to added functionalities. Only the new Wi-Fi version remote sensor (SE014) is supported, offering improved accuracy and more consistent weather data.

How to pair the remote sensors to the weather station? I inserted batteries but nothing happened.

Please note only the new wifi remote sensors can work with the Wifi Weather Station.

Identifying the Compatible Sensor:

  • Appearance: The compatible sensor has a sleek, slim design and includes a built-in hook for easy placement.
  • Setup Requirement: Pairing is conducted exclusively through the HomGar App; simply inserting batteries will not initiate the pairing process.

Steps to Pair the Compatible Sensor:

  1. Open the HomGar App on your smartphone or tablet.
  2. Select Your Weather Station Hub from the device list.
  3. Navigate to "Sub-devices" under the hub's settings.
  4. Tap "Add Device."
  5. Choose "Thermo-Hygro Sensor" as the device type.
  6. Follow the on-screen instructions to complete the pairing process.

Can I place the remote sensor anywhere outdoors, even in the rain?

Designed to withstand extreme weather conditions, the sensor is weatherproof (not waterproof). However, to maintain longevity and ensure precise measurements, placing the sensor under a cover and away from direct sunlight and rain is recommended. Proper placement protects the sensor from potential heat sources and precipitation, contributing to more accurate readings and extended device life.
